MAX HAY, Seattle USA, Genre: Irish and blues

Cult-classic touring machine, Max Hay, delights audiences with madly-entertaining stage presence and musicianship. Hay specializes in his own unique and percussive hybrid-style guitar playing along with stomping feet, bassy vocals and articulate harmonica. Heavily influenced by reggae, blues, American country and comedy, Max's shows are fun and emotional. Currently based in Seattle, WA, Max has been on tour nearly non-stop for over 10 years. He entertains at festivals and pubs throughout Australia, China, Brazil, and his native USA. Expect laughs and well-crafted arrangements that come straight from the heart.

DUO CON-TRASTES, Cuba, Genre: Clasical Cuban and Latin-American music

Con-Trastes is a unique duo from Cuba made up of profecional female guitarists, Zuleida  Suárez and Susana Frade. Both have are music graduates from the art university in Havana. They have been invited to play at important festivals both national and international. They have played in the most prestigious theatres in Cuba playing compositions from importat composers, a few of them specially dedicated to the duo. They have recorded albums with cuban and latin-american music. And they are part of the  double album of the Guitar Sonata Orchestra in Havana.

TIM WILLIAMS & JOSSY GALLEGOS, Petatlan Mexico & Calgary Canada, Genre: Acoustic Blues & Mexican.

Since his teenage years in Southern California, Tim Williams has steadily risen to the upper ranks of acoustic roots and blues performers, with a combination of vocal, guitar and songwriting skills.  Winner of the International Blues Challenge 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee,  he has toured extensively and opened for B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, ZZ Top, Taj Mahal, Dr. John, and many more. His blues-based music incorporates elements of both Mexican and Hawaiian music as well.

Singer and songwriter from Petatlan, Guerrero, Mexico. At 9 years old Jossy had already started her professional carrier, singing at events, hotels, and stadiums in Zihuatanejo, Petatlan, Acapulco and other parts of Mexico, interpreting traditional Mexican music (Vernácula). At 16 Jossy moved to the United States where she continued her musical activity, dabbling with different genres like trova, rock, opera, pop and rancheros.


SAM SIMS DUO, Orlando & New York USA, Genre: Flok-Rock & Island

Sam Sims began his musical journey at age seven, learning piano from his mother, and was writing original songs by age fourteen. He performs on guitar, ukulele and harmonica, and his eclectic style incorporates Folk-Rock, Hawaiian/Reggae and Acoustic Soul/Pop.

Kyle Ward is a multi-instrumentalist who recently graduated from Berklee College of Music. Kyle has been lead guitarist for award-winning bands along the Jersey Shore. He received the Performing Arts Society Award, the John Philip Sousa Award for Musical Excellence, and was an honoree at the Rockin’ Music Academy.

OSCAR MENDEZ, Bogota Columbia,Genre: Modern fingerstyle

Oscar Méndez is a sound engineer, musician and guitar instructor born on June 13,1987. Known for introducing modern fingerstyle guitar in Colombia, his music is a mix of different styles using modern fingerstyle concepts. He has performed at Festival de Guitarra Internacional en Cartagena, Festival Guitar Masters (Medellín), Winter NAMM 2017 - 2018 (Los Angeles,CA), Colombia Fingerstyle Guitar Tour (Los Angeles,Sacramento,San Francisco,CA). He also is supported by Takamine Guitars (Japan),Fretmonkey Records (USA), Music Area Cases (China).

LEO PARRA CASTILLO, Bogota Colombia, Genre: Blues

Leo is a Blues musician from Colombia. He has spent several years learning and cultivating the style of The Bluesmen which he admires, particularly the sound of the Mississippi Delta Blues. His influences are from Son House and Robert Johnson to J. B. Lenoir, and Fred McDowell and Muddy Waters. Recently he's been influenced by sounds like Soul and R&B and these now influence his reportoir. He is an active part of the Blues sceene in Buenos Aires, where he has lived for several years. He has played at festivals and events in Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador. Today he lives in Colombia.

PAUL PIGAT, Vancouver Canada, Genre: Americana finger style

You’d never think it to look at Paul Pigat, but behind that unassuming grin and underneath those Doc Watson glasses lurks one of the most restless, combustible musical imaginations ever crammed like so much canned heat into a single body. Blessed with a jazz man’s sheen, a rockabilly heart and a hobo’s soul, there aren’t many genres of music that don’t pull at Pigat’s wayfaring imagination like a magnet. In many ways, it’s a mystery why Paul Pigat isn’t a household name yet. Maybe he’d be a lot easier to pin down if he wasn’t so darn good at so many different things.

AMY RIGBY, New York USA, Genre: Rock, singer/songwriter

Amy Rigby has made a life out of writing and singing about life. With bands Last Roundup and the Shams in 80s/90s NYC to solo debut* Diary Of A Mod Housewife*; through a songwriting career in Nashville and during the past decade with duo partner Wreckless Eric, she’s released records on visionary independent labels Rounder, Matador and Stiff Records as well as her own label Southern Domestic. For the last twenty years she has toured North America, the UK and Europe. With 2018 solo album *The Old Guys*, Nashville Scene called her “…one of America’s greatest songwriters.” 

ERIC McFADDEN & OMAR TORREZ, San Francisco & Los Angeles USA, Genre: Rock

Eric McFadden is a guitar virtuoso/songwriter/vocalist. He has toured the world both as a solo artist, as well as with funk legend George Clinton (Parliament/Funkadelic), rock legend Eric Burdon (The Animals), Anders Osborne and more.
Eric recently signed with Tab Benoit’s label, Whiskey Bayou records. The new album, “Pain By Numbers”, which features, Doug Wimbish (Living Colour) and Terence Higgins (Annie DiFranco, Warren Haynes), was released September 7th 2018.

Omar Torres’s lysergic Latin guitar fluttered like a Bossa Nova hummingbird, a neon Andres Segovia, runs punctuated with Bill Frissel sustains and Hendrix air-raid siren chords.” ~ Flagstaff Live Omar Torrez’s musical recipe is equal parts post-modern rock, Mexican and Cuban Son, gutbucket blues, spiced with stunning guitar wizardry and soulful songwriting. He is best known as Tom Waits’ guitarist on the Glitter & Doom world tour. His latest record, A Night of Serious Drinking, was produced by Tony Berg (Michael Penn, Aimee Mann, Bob Dylan, Pink, Public Image Ltd.).

JAVIER ROJAS, Cancun Mexico, Genre: Contemporary Mexican music

Javier is a guitarist and composer; he has loved the guitar all his life. He was born in CDMX. In his student years at the Chapingo University, where he studied Agronomy, he approached the composition field for the first time. His guitar has taken him to many places in his country and some other places over the world performing in concerts, festivals, radio, TV, universities, etc. Javier has produced 7 albums with his own compositions. In his own words “I will go deeply into the guitar playing, as long as life allows me to do it”.


MORGAN SZYMANSKI & FAUSTO PALMA, Mexico City, Genre: Folk and contemporary classical.

The two Mexican musicians and childhood friends, Fausto Palma and Morgan Szymanski began playing together as children in Valle de Bravo. They left Mexico in the decade of the 90's, like many others, in search of a better education, of better opportunities, and in search of music. Time and the hazards of destiny make them return to their country to the place where they grew up, Valle de Bravo, after 15 years traveling and playing for the world.
